EPIC DANCE CONTEST

We are inviting dancers, dance studios, or anyone interested in competitive dance choreography to the EPIC DANCE CONTEST. The contest comprises of two parts, a virtual submission to be judged and a physical presentation also to be judged. A group is consisting of one to three individual and participants will be judged based on a set of criteria evaluated by judges. 

 

EPIC DANCE CONTEST will select fifty-six contestants from all the submission to initiate the competition. Once selected, contestant must pay a nonrefundable administration fee of fourth-five $45 for each group. The competition is consisting of six rounds of dancing where all participants, will be given one week to submit one of the preselected genres which includes Kompa, Reggae, Salsa, Soca, Hip Hop and Afro beats.

After the first three rounds, the fourth will be a presentation with the group with the least point be eliminated. Participants in the fifth round will compete for third place, then the sixth rounds will be the grand final between the two last contestant. 

 

Contestants will choreograph six genres of music during the competition, three to be submitted virtually and three performed physically on the 15th of August 2025. The virtually choregraph must be summited to be judged by professional dancers or instructors globally. The physical choreographs which is the quarter-final, simi-final and the grand final will be hosted in Ottawa, Ontario Canada by four judges, venue audience and virtual voters. The voting apparatus is constructed with the judges account for 40%, audience 30% and virtual 30% to makeup a contestant score of 100%. 

 

The event spins three months, culminating in a quarter final, semi-final and a grand finale on August 15th, 2025, in the city of Ottawa Ontario Canada.

 

Participant must: 

-Registrar online at EPICDANCECONTEST.COM, 

-Be at least sixteen years of age, 

-Provide a 15 sec dance video, 

-Provide a summary Bio, 

-Each dance move history

The winner of the 2025 EPIC DANCE CONTEST will receive an all-inclusive one week return trip to Kingston Jamaica and do a presentation on the Jamaica dancing dynamites competition in June of 2026.  

SIGNATURE SHOWCASE

Signature showcases the finest in Hip Hop, Reggae, R&B, Jazz, Kompa, Calypso, and Salsa, featuring artists from local, regional, and internationally. Performers are selected from three categories: those already on the ShartyB roster, those with collaborations, and those from other labels and starting their musical tours through Canada.

LEGENDS OF THE CARIBBEAN

The premier event in the ShartyB 360 annual series, a concert that highlights the rich heritage in the music, cuisine, culture, Arts and the crafts in the Caribbean. The evening will unveil one selected genre of the four Caribbean music Reggae, Calypso, Kompa or Salsa. The evening features a formal atmosphere with catered food and beverages, with a show running time over four hours. The venue will be a theater style, with a mix of seating and standing areas, serving Caribbean dishes, equipped and tailored as a Caribbean presentation and hosting up to a thousand patrons.

SPARK TO FIRE

A spring event hosted by ShartyB Production. This event is dedicated to discovering and nurturing emerging musical talent, helping aspiring artists realize their dreams. To enter an applicant must be at lease eighteen years of age, present an original recording or cover recording form one of the following genres (Kompa, Reggae, Salsa, Soca, Bachata, Afro) to be performed by the applicant in the format layed out by the spark the fire oganizers
